About TG3 Electronics, Inc.'s Backlit Illuminated Keyboard Line

TG3 Electronics, Inc. is the industry’s number one supplier of back lit keyboards. Thousands of our rugged Backlit keyboards are in the field working hard in a variety of demanding applications. The TG3 line is ideal for:

  • Mobile PC Applications
  • Police Car
  • Emergency Vehicle
  • Transportation
  • Medical
  • Hospitality
  • Service

The Backlit series is easily mountable, offers eight levels of lighting brightness and features LED backlit keys. A high resolution touchpad option for user convenience is available.

The backlit illuminated keyboard solutions that TG3 provides are unique in the world of data input technologies. Our patented keycap molding process allows for light to pass through the legends thereby allowing the user to focus on the TOP of the keycap right where the letters, numbers, and words are.

Take a look at the competition. Many claim to be backlit and they are - behind and inbetween the keycaps and not the legend. The result of backlighting the keycap and not the legend actually decreases the usefulness of the backlit keyboard in low and no light environments. Why? With the keycap perimeter illuminated and NOT the legend, your focus is on the light source and not the surface of the keycap. You are literally blinded to the legends on the surface of the keycaps by the light around the perimeter of the keycaps.
